Platform To Evaluate Cyber Risk Launched

Mosaic Insurance partners has launched a risk assessment platform powered by the California-based firm Safe Security to advise underwriters concerning cyber risk for brokers and insureds. The platform claims to offer a real time view of a company’s enterprise-wide cyber risk. It will allow “accurate exposure analysis, coverage and pricing for brokers and insureds.” It also can provide information about related financial exposure, which will enable underwriters to determine adequate coverage limits and design appropriate coverage and pricing for insureds. According to Pankaj Goyal, senior vice president of artificial intelligence and cyber insurance at Safe Security, his firm is making cyber insurance underwriting data-driven through an inside-out analysis. “We link security controls to financial exposure, helping underwriters make faster and better insurance decisions.”
